Herbs Festival in Tavush

One of the main goals of the Festival considered by the Organizational committee is as wide as possible participation of Tavush residents, including remote villages.

The objective of the Festival is to popularize the herbs of Armenia, particularly, the rich flora of Tavush region as one of the country’s little-known resources.

The concept of the Festival can be expressed by the slogan: “We care for what we love. We love what we know!” The learning/educational component of the Festival is compatible with its entertaining part.

On six stages of the Festival, master classes are held to create household accessories made from herbs, aroma-treated dough art, creation of art objects and theatrical performances, as well as a large sensor track for both adults and children.
